Sharing my My Mind's Eye Challenge!!

Challenge #9: Blast from the Past
The challenge: Design a "blast from the past” layout or other project based on this sketch by Anam Stubbington.

The rules: Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past) you’d like as long as your project has at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products.

A photo of my Grandma, circa 1940! Love the photo, love the challenge! Most of the paper is from the New Quite Contrary, one sheet of Penny Lane, Lush Brown letters! Love the versatility of MME paper, not too many papers that you can use the "B" sides and create heritage layouts!

Happy Friday Everyone! Just a couple of quick notes to share with you!

Today is the big day for the drawing of the whole Collection of My Mind's Eye Abbey Road Collection! I will draw at the end of the day! So exciting!

For those of you attending tomorrow morning's Easter Card class...you might want to arrive by 9:45, as there is a St. Patrick's Day Parade that starts at 10:00 am. Kind of messes up my class, but should be fun! You can always park in the lot across the street from the store, for 25 cents an hour, and not be bothered with moving your car.

Tomorrow there will be a free make n take St. Patrick's Day card using the new Core'dinations card stock. Come in and play!



Last I wanted to share with you a great layout created by Leah featuring My Mind's Eye Abbey Road. Love it! It is so cute. Makes me feel a little old though, cruisin 1984, heck I graduated in 1985. Love, love, love this one by Angie too! She was on a roll this weekend! This one was created using the B sides of the new LIL ROBOTS line from MME and some Jenni Bowlin Banner Stickers and Bingo Card. It's so great!!! Her photos are fantastic, she always has the greatest shots of her kiddos!

Another one of mine featuring the Lush Line again, the line works well for masculine layouts too!

One of my favorite fun pages that I created this weekend was with Scooter's Vacation from Imaginisce. Lori had these great phot0s from a few years back, I snagged them and had a ton of fun with them! You never know when Vespa photos are going to work with the paper you have, I mean these photos were meant for this paper! LOL! Love the banner created from the great icons in the paper!!

Retreat pic's

Okay, thought I would share some of the Cedar Shore Scrappin' Ladies Retreat with you! They are all a bit embarrassing , but we had a great time! Good Times, Good Friends and Great Scrapping!
Here's Kara, in the red, winning the pajama contest! She was awesome and so much fun! She was the hit of the retreat! Too cute and too funny! Hands down, she one the contest! Cara and Kara, adorable! Try keeping those too names straight all weekend!

Sue, Desi, Angie, me and Joyce! We had such a great time with Joyce, Sue and Desi! Hilarious fun and hi jinks!

Angie, all comfy, in her snuggie and slippers!!

More of the Kara, she was a riot and even the bartender got in the act by handing her bottles of booze! Very fun!

We had so much fun, stayed up way too late, and just had a fantastic time! It was a weekend I will never forget and I hope some people forget all the things we did! We may never be invited back! LOL!! Tomorrow I will share photos of all of the layouts and cards that were created by my fabulous crew of Bullies!!!

October Afternoon's Farm Fresh

Just wanted to share this wonderful new collection from October Afternoon...Farm Fresh! Love this line and it has the most wonderful embellishments and B sides. You have to have two of every sheet because the B side is so wonderful! This is such a great line for everyone, scrappers and card makers. The paper is great quality (you all know how picky I am about paper weight and all that), fabulous prints and whimsical designs. Cook books would be adorable with this line, too!
