Challenge #8: Pink OR Red
We know, it’s a little cliché with this being the month of love and all. We thought it would be fun for our challenge this month to use pink OR red.

The Challenge: Use this sketch designed by Anam Stubbington and pink OR red (or both). You can change it, use it as-is, flip it, whatever you'd like as long as we can still recognize the sketch.

The rules: Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past) you’d like as long as your project has at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products.

Saturday, Feb 20 Notecard Class

Saturday, February 20, 11:00 am Note card/Everyday Card Class. Cost is $10.00. Please bring scissors, a paper trimmer, adhesive (including glue dots and popdots) and a small acrylic stamp block. Call 721-7529 or email artplay@rushmore.com to reserve your spot!

We will be making 5 everyday note cards that fit into a cute little tin that will be wrapped with a bow and cute tag. Perfect gift or gift to yourself. We always need thank you's, thinking of you's and just basic little cards. I don't know where the photos of the other two cards disappeared to, but you get the idea. ( I think I need to delete some stuff in this computer....).
I have 6 opening for this class. Everyone who signs up with get a sheet of each printed paper, so you will have lots of scraps to take home and you will receive the cute little bird stamp that says "You make my heart flutter."

Super fun, super easy and you'll go home with a two page layout. You will have the supplies to make something similar to the layouts below or go any which way you want. Sharing a layout with you that will lead to the question of the day and the challenge!

Just a quick one I did of my daughter...lots of stitching, paint, and a new flower technique. Holy Moly! She doesn't look 12!! Yikes!!

Which leads to the challenge and the question!

Okay, I was really in the mood to scrap Saturday night, but reaaaaaaaaaaaaallly didn't want to clean off my desk from the previous two layouts I had done. ( The one above and the one posted previously with Bella Blvd. product and sweet Tabby in her frog pool! ) I can't scrap without a fresh start and really didn't feel like cleaning it up. So...I challenged myself to use what was left on my desk from the previous projects.

This is what I came up with...and I have to say I llloooovvveee it! I put it together in less than 30 minutes...a new record for me!! Plus, I used more than one photo...totally not my style!

Glimmer mist and paint were on my desk, Tim tickets, corrugated cardboard, bits of bella and lots of scraps of cardstock along with red thread in my machine. This is the finished product...

Who would think Bella Blvd., pink and red cardstock and Best Creations Love Swirls would work for a Bon Jovi layout! I free hand cut the circles and hearts so they wouldn't be so perfect for this perfect man!
