Candy, of course! Last year I gave each of them "altered" boxes of conversation hearts. Ribbons, stickers and a picture of the recipient decorated the cellophane heart opening. Really easy and cute!
We usually give the kids a small box of candy, but I do a Special Valentine's meal. Homemade, Personal size, Heart Shaped Pizzas. I put a red table cloth on, sprinkle about some valentine confetti, and light some candles. At 12 and 14 last year they still liked.
Ummm, no kids so....nothing.
Both my kids are grown so they get a card. When they were small they got candy and a card.

I haven't made it that far yet, but I think Ben will be getting a book this year. Although he's been building zoos all over the house and wishing for a lion lately, so maybe I'll be animal shopping too! Anything to try to avoid the candy and sugar rush!
I don't have kids of my own But I give candy to my nieces and last year I sent them crocheted hearts that they could wear to school

I usually give my girls candy and jewelry. This year I got my youngest daughter a bow ring and a Twilight tin with conversation hearts in it.

I usually get candy and a small gift. This year I got each of them a cute little webkinz puppy in a valentines bag.
Definitely CHOCOLATE...and a gift when they were small. Now that they are all almost grown it's harder to find a small gift that will WOW them. :o)

My kids are each getting a movie, some chocolate, and a handmade valentine.
Mine will get some type of card that reminds me of them. Goodies like health nut stuff as both boys are "Working OUT" and perhaps some manly smell good stuff this year. They are harder to get for because the 2 boys are in college but still like to get goodies. My daughter is much more fun because she loves a little of everything just like mom.
