December Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock Creative Team

Welcome to the Creative Team Blog Hop for December.  Lori has so many fun Holiday files, the inspiration is unbelievable!  Freebies and prizes along the way, too!

I have been so inspired by all the Rae Dunn projects on Pinterest that I decided to give a set of ornaments a try for a very special friend!  I hope she loves them as much as I do.  I used Lori's Handwriting Dash font to create these.  You can find the SVG file and the Silhouette file here.  They are about 1.5 inches tall, using black vinyl and white glass bulbs.  A little bit of a tedious project with weeding the vinyl and applying the transfer tape, but so worth the work.  I love how they turned out.  I then just added a bit of sheer sparkly black ribbon and white n black gingham ribbon.

Then a pretty tray for her to store them all in.  I just added the Believe from Lori.  You can find the Silhouette and I know it's somewhere in Lori's Shop, I just can't find it.

This is the blog hop order, in case you missed anyone!

Fun with Doodlebug Down on the Farm

Just sharing a fun little card I created for a very special little guy's first birthday.  I used the Doodlebug Down on the Farm collection.  I made the card using my Silhouette and Doodlebug Barn-down on the farm cut file.   Just weld another barn shape to create the card.  His name was created with Lori Whitlock's Jumble Font, welded together.
I love how this turned out...just so dang cute!
Lots more to come from this adorable collection!  I can't wait to share with you!

Creating For Lori Whitlock, once again!

Hi everyone!  So after a couple year hiatus from the scraping and designing world, I am beyond thrilled to be back designing for Lori Whitlock.  I have missed this team so much and the chance to design with the greatest cut files and paper collections.
I had a lot of fun this week working on some cute summer projects with Lori’s files and her paper collection Let’s Be Mermaids from Echo Park.
Bear with me on the photography, it’s been a while since I’ve edited projects and I have a whole new scrap room and still trying to figure out the best lighting and such.
First up, I have a Shell Flexi Card. (SVGSilhouette)  This was so much fun to make, super easy and who wouldn’t want to receive this little card with just a bit more pizzazz with the flexi shape.  I just cut it out with my silhouette and used the paper, embellishments and stickers from the Let’s Be Mermaids to complete.  I can’t wait to try more of Lori’s Flexi cards.
A cute little ocean scene on the inside of the card that peeks through the flexi shell!
Next,  an Intricate Cut Thank You (SVGSilhouette)!  This card is simple and gorgeous, all you have to do is add a background paper and cut the the scallop oval frame.  I cut two frames and popped one up with adhesive pop dots, just for a bit more dimension.  Then a just added twine, enamel dots and some small vellum flowers with Lori’s 3 mix and match flowers (SVGSilhouette).
Lastly, I have just a fun little box card.  Loving all the fun patterns and colors in the Let’s Be Mermaids collection.  Soon summer will be gone, so I enjoyed creating with the bright colors and summer files.  This is the A2 pineapple box card (SVGSilhouette).  Quick and easy, and perfect to send to someone special to brighten their day.  It goes together in just a matter of minutes.  I love little projects that are a breeze to make.
As I said before, I am thrilled to be back with Lori and her amazing team.  She has so many new files that I can’t wait to try and lots of gorgeous new collections coming from Echo Park.  I am one happy girl!

A little time to create...

I had a Sunday to create...didn't get a lot done but did make a cute unicorn card for a special little one.  Unicorns seem to be the trend at the moment.  Lots of great files from Lori Whitlock.  I used this file,  unicorn face, for this super cute card and the Little Dreamer collection from CTMH!
Love how it turned out!

Finally back....it feels great!

After almost two years off from scrapping and creating, it feels so great to finally post something.  I spent last weekend scrapping with friends near Pierre and these are just two of the layouts I created.  Love, love, love this line from CTMH...Jack.

Next up, I will be sharing some creations from Echo Park/Lori Whitlock's Perfect Princess collection!
