Definitely CHOCOLATE...and a gift when they were small. Now that they are all almost grown it's harder to find a small gift that will WOW them. :o)StayC

Sharing a layout with you that will lead to the question of the day and the challenge!

Just a quick one I did of my daughter...lots of stitching, paint, and a new flower technique. Holy Moly! She doesn't look 12!! Yikes!!

Which leads to the challenge and the question!
Okay, I was really in the mood to scrap Saturday night, but reaaaaaaaaaaaaallly didn't want to clean off my desk from the previous two layouts I had done. ( The one above and the one posted previously with Bella Blvd. product and sweet Tabby in her frog pool! ) I can't scrap without a fresh start and really didn't feel like cleaning it up. So...I challenged myself to use what was left on my desk from the previous projects.
This is what I came up with...and I have to say I llloooovvveee it! I put it together in less than 30 minutes...a new record for me!! Plus, I used more than one photo...totally not my style!
Glimmer mist and paint were on my desk, Tim tickets, corrugated cardboard, bits of bella and lots of scraps of cardstock along with red thread in my machine. This is the finished product...
Who would think Bella Blvd., pink and red cardstock and Best Creations Love Swirls would work for a Bon Jovi layout! I free hand cut the circles and hearts so they wouldn't be so perfect for this perfect man!
Your challenge is the same...create a layout or cards from what's laying out on your scrap space. Send me a photo or upload to Flicker and you could win a prize!
Today's question: What's your favorite love song??
Mine: The Dance by Garth, and all of JBJ's songs!!!! And Love Me Tender!! Elvis!!
Leave a comment to this post and you can win!!
Love to have you participate in the challenge..how about a cut off of February 2oth for that!!!

WOW....LOVE LOVE LOVE the layout! I'm thinking this may be a good challenge for me. I hate cleaning off my scrap table! UGH!
Kendra, I love the Austin song as well, great tune. Unfortunately, I don't do a lot of love songs. It's that whole continually single thing ya know. :)

And, this layout using not much other than scraps is why we love you!
And, no, I don't have a favorite love song. I'm not much of a mushy girl.
Have a super day.

I'm a sentlementalist (don't know how to spell it tho. lol) I don't have one song but lots of favorites. And most are oldies. Lady by Kenny Rogers, Cherish by Association, Because you loved me by Celine Dion, unchained Melody by Righteous Brothers, Wind beneath my wings by Bet Middler to name a few.
The layouts are great. I cleaned off my scrap table before leaving for Seattle so is gonna be a real challenge for me. Usually its covered.

Cool layouts! My favorite is "Save the Last Dance for Me" - Anne Murray.

Sheesh Kendra...Chicago?? jk

I'm gonna have to go with I can't help falling in love - Elvis. I also really like that sappy country one Don't take the girl. I think it is Alan Jackson. I am sure if I really thought about it I would come up with something off Monster Ballads as my favorite, but those are just the first 2 that popped in my head.

I love the Bon Jovi layout. The stitching is gorgeous, and how on earth did you get such amazing pictures at a concert?

I am thinking of a Keith Urban song - but I can't remember the title. Chris sent it to Hannah and I.
