Taking time to Play

I had a bit of spare time this weekend just to create and play for myself..seems I never have enough time to just sit down and design something for me or by something that inspires me.  I was super inspired by the Thursday sketch over at Elle's Studio , and decided to give it a try.  I love the sunburst trend and I had some fun Elle's Studio products in my stash!

Here is my take on the challenge!

I die cut the top sunburst out of the white paper and layered paper strips behind and added a bit of pen work and used a smaller sunburst on the bottom.  Lots of layering, a few sprinkles and it was complete with the cutest little sock monkey ever!
