April Scrapping Our Stash Hop

Time for the April Scrapping Our Stash Hop...and honestly I haven't had this gorgeous Pink Fresh in my stash long...but I was dying to use it.  A little Pink Fresh, a little bit of Heidi Swapp, some washi from my stash, a few SRM Sticker Stitches and that gorgeous sequin heart from May Arts.  You can get the Pink Fresh, Heidi Swapp and those hearts at Paper Issues.

I created a fun layout using two of Lori's SVG files!  Have you ever used a shaker box on a layout?  I thought it would be fun and different.  I enlarged the file to about 5 1/2 inches!  Then I layered it all together and filled with sequins.

Next a fun title...There is Sunshine in my Heart.  I cut it at about 4.5 inches wide out of white swiss dot dot card stock and colored it with water colors.  It needed a bit more oomph so I added black offset cut of the title!  I love how this layout turned out with the two fun files!

ArtPlay Class with Lynne coming to Rapid

Lynne and I will be coming to Rapid City on Monday, May 4!  Lynne will be hosting an Adornit ArtPlay Class at Stoney Creek Apartments Club House and I will be tagging along just to see all of you!

Adornit recently released these awesome ArtPlay papers...you can use a variety of techniques to color them.  So much fun and Lynne will be sharing her techniques with you using water color pencils, Distress Markers and more!

You will be making 6 cards with these fun images and you will have 6 images left to take home with you!  

Cost is $20.00, tax included.  Please bring a paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, pop

dots and glue dots, and if you have a favorite way to color please bring those items too, if you wish!

Class will be in an open house style...you can come anytime between 5 pm and 9pm!
