Wow! Feelin Extra lucky!!!
Strangest gift? Would have to be one of those "as seen on TV" things, my dad is very big on those. He got us all this thing that defrosted food quickly. Never used it except to watch ice cubes melt! LOL

(This would be why my family no longer buys gifts)

Today (since about 8:30am)I have made 30 Hot Chocolate Packs, 2 pairs of earrings and 4 bracelets. Whew.

I can't remember getting a strange gift for Christmas. Have nice memories of some wonderful gifts. Just getting to have all my children and grandchildren together this year is the best gift ever in my book. Four days in the first one arrives. YA!!! Nancy Schurger

Cathy--I know what my favorite holiday music is if that would be one of our questions.

Uhm.. It would have to be the very posh deep purple sweatsuit I got in 89. It had embroidered lace (also deep purple) at the hemline. I felt like a giant grape twin pop in it.
And, my sis got the best one: a REAL bow with diamond tipped arrows for her 5 year old daughter! No one in that family was a hunter. I can't top that!

Probably a white elephant gift but nothing specific comes to mind.

I would have to say that my mom for my birthday got me a "foot egg" the one where you scrape dead skin off your feet. She said that she thought mine looked like they could use it!!

The stangest thing I ever got was a half-empty jar of Avon perfume cream from my step grandmother. Sad, huh?

My parents gave me a saxophone cleaning kit for Christmas one year. Okay, I did play the saxophone, but what kid wants a cleaning kit for it?

ok I remember something stranger than the snoopy snowcone machine-was this plastic cover for your coat that had my initials embroidered on it! hmm I was on my stepmothers bad list that year!

I received a gallon of yellow paint. That would be strange except that I wanted my bedroom painted yellow--why didn't I think to ask for a paint job instead of a gallon of paint!

sorry cara~ i really am crazy, i was thinking kara. but i know i am crazy, so>>> i can say that i did get a really strange wedding gift... beer mugs with string bikinis in them from my husbands aunt and uncle. i had never met them, and obviously they had never seen my bottom. or they would have known that the string would of been lost in one of my dimples!!!

My strangest gift was a little ceramic rooster and chicken from a relative. I think she wanted to start a collection for me. I visualized my house cluttered with chickens. Not long after, I accidentally broke one. My house is chicken-free to this day.

A banana hanger. We also we given that thing that defrosts food fast...whatever. My husband used to buy me clothes and they were always for a tall, skinny woman...which doesn't discribe me. He doesn't buy me clothes anymore!
